Travels to locations around the world, performing extreme stunts and challenges to see what the featured cars are capable of doing. Celebrity guests appear on some episodes to help test the vehicles. Things don't always go as planned, though, with broken bones and mechanical mishaps sometimes part of the experiments.

Top Gear Korea (Hangul: 탑 기어 코리아) is the South Korean adaptation of BBC's popular Top Gear show. Officially announced on June 21, 2011, the show follows a similar format with the British version and season 1 included 3 presenters: singer and professional driver Kim Jin-pyo (김진표), actor Yeon Jung-hoon (연정훈), and actor Kim Kap-soo (김갑수). The show uses a circuit in Ansan city, which is not used for racing but just for tests and social events, as the main test facility and the Power Lap Time track. Korea International Circuit, the venue of Korean Grand Prix and Taebaek Racing Park are used for some episodes.

Top Gear Italia is an international version of the popular British BBC Two motoring show. This version of the show is presented by Guido Meda (an Italian commentator of the Moto GP), Joe Bastianich (an American restaurateur, previously a judge on MasterChef Italia) and Davide Valsecchi (an Italian racing driver and GP2 Series champion). It also features the Italian version of "The Stig".
