The Three Caballeros Franchise

1 3 EnStorm

"The Three Caballeros" stars Donald Duck, José Carioca, and Panchito Pistoles, and kicked off with the 1944 Disney film. The trio's adventures are vibrant, musical, and culturally rich. The story actually begins with "Saludos Amigos" (1942), a film blending live-action and animation to showcase a goodwill tour of Latin America. It introduced José Carioca, who accompanies Donald Duck on his travels through Brazil and other parts of South America. Fast forward to "The Legend of the Three Caballeros," a 2018 TV series that revived these characters in a modern, magical adventure. In this show, Donald, José, and Panchito discover an ancient magical atlas that leads them on quests to stop an evil sorcerer and his minions. So from "Saludos Amigos" to "The Legend of the Three Caballeros," the franchise offers a whirlwind of fun, friendship, and cross-cultural celebration.

Iznogoud (pronounced "he's/is no good" with a French accent) is a French comics series featuring an eponymous character, created by the comics writer René Goscinny and comics artist Jean Tabary. The comic series chronicles the life and times of Iznogoud, the Grand Vizier of the Caliph of Baghdad at an undefined period in the past. His greatest desire is to replace the Caliph, leading him to repeatedly utter the phrase "I want to be Caliph instead of the Caliph" (dethrone him), a phrase that has been adopted in French and some other European languages to characterize overly ambitious people. Iznogoud is supported by his faithful servant, Wa'at Alahf (pronounced "what a laugh").

Sooty

The Sooty franchise is focused upon the adventures of Sooty, a fictional glove puppet character created by magician and puppeteer Harry Corbett in the 1950s, alongside his other friends Sweep and Soo. Although fundamentally focused upon programmes for British children's television, Sooty also incorporates stage shows, both of which make use of a mixture of slapstick comedy, prop comedy – ranging from gunge, cream pies and water pistols – magic tricks, and music. All routines in both are primarily aimed at providing family-friendly entertainment suitable for young children. In addition, the franchise also include merchandising, ranging from annuals to toys. One such product that was sold was a toy musical instrument – referred to as a "xylophone", but in reality a toy glockenspiel – based upon the same instrument use by Sooty up until the 1980s
