The Expendables Franchise

The Expendables are a group of elite mercenaries who carry out all sorts of missions, ranging from assassination to rescue. The action thriller films are based on characters created by David Callaham and star an ensemble cast, most notably Sylvester Stallone, Arnold Schwarzenegger and Jason Statham. The film series was created to pay homage to the blockbuster action films of the 1980s and 1990s and also pays tribute to the action stars of those decades.

Un grupo de mercenarios es contratado para infiltrarse en un país sudamericano y derrocar a su despiadado dictador. Una vez la misión comienza, se percatan que las cosas no son lo que parecen y se verán atrapados en una telaraña de engaño y traición. Con su misión frustrada y vidas inocentes en juego, se tendrán que enfrentar a un reto aún más difícil; salvar la unidad de su grupo y la amistad que les une tras largos años de lucha.

Die Action-Thriller-Filme basieren auf den von David Callaham geschaffenen Charakteren und sind mit einem Ensemble besetzt, zu dem vor allem Sylvester Stallone, Arnold Schwarzenegger und Jason Statham gehören. Die Filmreihe wurde als Hommage an die Blockbuster-Actionfilme der 1980er und 1990er Jahre geschaffen und zollt auch den Action-Stars dieser Jahrzehnte Tribut.
