In diesem Film werden dem Zuschauer aus all diesen Personengruppen exemplarische Beispiele vorgeführt. Sie alle erleben den 1.Mai auf ihre Art und Weise und auch mit ihrer Sicht der Dinge. An einem bestimmten Punkt kreuzen sich die Wege der Protagonisten, meist auf dramatische Art und Weise.
