The advance of the ISIS in Iraq and Syria has left a trail of mass executions, slavery and religious persecution. This film depicts the ordeal of the yazidi minority in the Kurdistan region, whose faith combines elements of Zoroastrianism, Islam and Christianity. The film follows a young man who returns to his village under siege to save his elderly parents who stayed behind.
