58 years after being taken to China during the Japanese occupation, grandmother Lee Ok-seon returns to Korea. She makes her home in a place for survivors of sexual slavery in Japan. All the grandmothers share each others' pain and work to recover their honor and uncover the truth of sexual slavery.
