가난한 농부 부부가 있습니다. 세입자의 아내를 탐내는 노인인 지주는 그녀를 유혹하고 때로는 위협하기도 한다. 아내는 물레방아에서 노인과 매일 밤을 보낸다. 그 소식을 들은 남편은 물레방아로 달려가 함께 목격한다. 옆에 있던 낫을 들어 아내를 죽입니다. 지주는 탈출하고 농부는 일본 경찰에게 체포된다.
