In 1993 Sicily, diver Ludovica is coerced by the mafia to recover explosives from a WWII wreck with Sabrina, a novice, and Rocco, a violent enforcer. Confined in an abandoned salt flat, Ludovica slowly undermines Rocco’s control, inspiring Sabrina to reclaim her life.
