Peter und Katharina wohnen im gleichen Haus, auf der gleichen Etage und sind als Nachbarskinder groß geworden. Peter ist inzwischen Busfahrer und Katharina sitzt an einem Postschalter. Eines Tages entdecken beide, dass sie keine Kinder mehr sind und schon gibt es Probleme. Denn da sind auch noch andere, die das bemerken: In ihrem Übermut mit noch Tinten nasser Fahrerlaubnis in der Tasche "versenkt" Katharina Peters Motorrad in einem Berliner See. Zum Glück ist eine Tauchergruppe zur Stelle und hievt das gute Stück wieder an Land.
