Bambú

Alejandro es un joven compositor madrileño que, abrumado por un fracaso sentimental y artístico, decide alistarse como soldado voluntario e ir a Cuba, devastada por la guerra, donde traba amistad con Antonio, que se convierte en su mejor amigo.

Alejandro, a young composer, leaves Madrid after several disappointments, enlisting in the Army for Cuba, by then still a Spanish colony bursting with revolutionary attempts. He makes good friends with Antonio and then they meet Bambú, a beautiful fruit vendor. Both men fall in love with her and help her hide from her cruel father.
