Daffy Duck's Quackbusters

Il s'agit d'une compilation de cartoons des personnages de Warner Bros. couplée à une histoire inédite avec comme héros Daffy Duck, héritier d'une grosse fortune et qui crée une association de chasseurs de monstres avec Porky Pig (accompagné de son chat Sylvestre alias Grosminet) et Bugs Bunny. Le film commence par une introduction qui n'est autre que le court-métrage Night of the Living Duck.

In this feature-length film combining footage from classic Warner Brothers cartoon shorts with newly animated bridging sequences, Daffy Duck, after having induced laughter in an ailing millionaire and forestalled the millionaire's death for a time (as chronicled in Daffy Dilly (1948), is the beneficiary for the deceased millionaire's assets. But the millionaire's will clearly stipulates that Daffy must use the money for the common good, by providing a service, and should Daffy think of pursuing selfish aims, the millionaire's ghost will "repossess" his millions by making them disappear from Earthly existence. Under the pretense of community service, Daffy opens an exorcism agency and employs Porky Pig, Sylvester Cat, and Bugs Bunny to track and eliminate ghosts, ghouls, and other monsters, while Daffy secretly schemes to use his learned "ghost-busting" talents to rid himself of the millionaire's nagging spirit.

Patak Dodo radi kao ulični prodavač i pokušava prodati svoj proizvod povučenom milijunašu JP-ju Cubishu, koji je ponudio bogatstvo svima koji ga mogu nasmijati prije njegove smrti. Cubisha prati batler, kojeg Dodo otjera kako bi on mogao nasmijavati Cubisha i tako postati imućni nasljednik. Dodo će pristati na bilo što, čak i da mu Cubish stalno baca pite u lice, pritom se glasno smijući. Nakon Cubisheve smrti, navodno od smijeha, Dodo nasljeđuje bogatstvo zaključano u sefu. No taj novac Dodo mora koristiti za pružanje javnih usluga te mora poštovati Cubishevu želju da uvijek bude pošten pri poslovima koje sklapa. No Dodo ismijava Cubisha i čitavu ideju pa se ovaj vraća kao duh s namjerom da vrati svoje bogatstvo od Daffyja, osim ako Daffy ne pristane na njegove uvjete. Sada isprovocirani Dodo obećava da će iskoristiti novac kako bi eliminirao duhove, poput Cubisha.
