Génova 2001 marco un hito dentro de la historia de las protestas antiglobalización. Un movimiento que, evento tras evento, crecía exponencialmente hasta llegar a las 300 000 personas, fue frenado bruscamente. In 2001 the confrontation between the State and the social movements unraveled the true nature of power. The police crackdown was the response to the largest protest lived so far. Three hundred thousand demonstrators faced the most violent side of democracy.
