東京都中野区にある理容美容専門学校出身の久沙江（池脇千鶴）は卒業後、教員として母校で若手の育成に努めている。多くの生徒たちが通う学校では悩みを抱える者も少なくなく、彼女は日々心を尽くして彼らに接していた。そんな久沙江の目下の心配の種は、ハサミが思うように扱えずカットでつまずいた美容科の弥生（徳永えり）だった。
