Laila, une jeune marocaine sans emploi, quitte son pays pour un travail de saisonnière en Belgique. La jeune femme atterrit dans la petite exploitation agricole familiale d’André, un producteur de pommes. Très vite, Laila déchante, lorsqu’elle découvre le système profondément injuste qui règle les contrats des saisonniers. Peu à peu, son sentiment de révolte contamine son entourage et l’exploitation d’André va en être bousculée.
