Johnny Hurricane describes the daily struggles of the young protagonist in various everyday situations at school , at home or in his free time. The last episode gives an outlook after starting therapy. The film is intermittently interrupted by interview sequences with three young people affected by ADHD, each of whom reports on their personal experiences with the diagnosis of ADHD in relation to the content of the film.
