林定水（葛米星 饰）和弹雅（范文芳 饰）因公务结怨，几近水火不容，一场车祸中，两人竟然灵魂对调，就此展开两段全新的人生。这一特殊的情境让弹雅开始体会到作为一名底层公务人员的辛酸与无奈，林定水亦知晓了身为领导其实并不如他曾经想象的那么光鲜。 因为任性擅自修改政府条规，林定水替弹雅惹了一身腥，与此同时，同僚艾瑞克和志鸿的明枪暗箭亦时时准备着，想要将弹雅拉下水。于是，林定水和弹雅决定合作，力求成功举办职业展览，两人将命运和前途全都压在了这个展览之上。最终，展览如期举行，然而，一场意外的大火将整个事件推向的高潮。
