محمد أفندي خريج كلية الزراعة ومتمسك بالتقاليد، ويعمل ناظر لعزبة جابر باشا، وأخته مديحة محامية وترفض الحياة بالريف والزواج بابن عمها وتقرر الهرب مع ابن جابر باشا، لولا وقوف الأهالي ضد ذلك الفعل، فيواجه محمد أفندي الباشا بمفاسد ابنه.
