Der Regie führende Schauspieler Helmut Lohner hat Offenbachs gesungenes Lachtheater in unsere Epoche übertragen. Mit viel Witz, schrillen Pop-Art-Kostümen, Graffiti-Anleihen und einem farbenfroh ausgeleuchteten Bühnenbild betrachtet er „Die schöne Helena“ aus einem modernen Blickwinkel.
