Tomoko is an older woman who, after her retirement, is sent to Argentina to spread Japanese culture. The days that follow her arrival, she will run for cover in the bubble of her community, trying to maintain her rituals and traditions. But the local scene brings up some difficulties: few people speak her language and even fewer share her customs. Tomoko is homesick and misses her son, Hikaru, unreachable because of the time difference. Now, it's up to Tomoko to open up to another reading on her staying, to discover the western charm.
