The Strong Ones is a story of love and courage, at the end of the world, between two men in search of freedom.
Lucas se rend chez sa sœur dans un village reculé du Sud du Chili avant de s’en aller vivre au Canada. Là, face à l’océan et au milieu de la brume, il rencontre Antonio, maître d’équipage sur un bateau de pêche local. Quand une relation amoureuse intense surgit entre eux, ils se retrouvent obligés d’affronter leur réalité et de briser leur solitude, en apprenant à faire confiance aux gens qui les entourent.
Lucas (Samuel González) travels to the town of Niebla, in Southern Chile, to visit his sister Carolina (Marcela Salinas) before departing to Montreal, where he has received a scholarship for postgraduate studies. In Niebla, Lucas befriends and falls in love with Antonio (Antonio Altamirano), a fisherman and part-time actor for historical reenactments of the capture of Valdivia's fortresses.
