Luye once lived with her master until a war shattered her peaceful life. All of her family members perished during the conflict, and she was brought to The Spirit Guild by the master/enforcer Wuxian, where she lived among other spirits. However, the trauma caused from the war made it difficult for her to adapt to her normal life. She eventually left the Guild and became Wuxian’s apprentice.
