Мастер и Маргарита

Москва, 1930-е годы. Популярный драматург обвиняется в антисоветчине: спектакль по его пьесе отменяют, а самого его выгоняют из союза литераторов. В не самый лучший момент своей жизни он встречает глубоко несчастную в браке красавицу Маргариту и начинает новый роман, героями которого становятся люди из его окружения, в том числе — мистический персонаж Воланд, списанный со знакомого иностранца.

Based on Mikhail Bulgakov's novel "Master and Margarita". 1930's, Moscow. A famous writer is censored by the Soviet state: his novel is banned, and the theatrical premier of his new play about Pontius Pilate - canceled. In just a few days he becomes an outcast. Inspired by these misfortunes the writer conceives a new novel in which the devil, named Woland, satirically revenges all those responsible for the writer's downfall. He knows this novel can never be published in the USSR, but Margarita - his muse pushes him to write it no matter what.

Moskau in den 1930er-Jahren: Das Werk eines bekannten Schriftstellers wird vom sowjetischen Staat zensiert und die Premiere seines Theaterstücks abgesagt. Inspiriert von seiner Geliebten Margarita, beginnt er mit der Arbeit an einem neuen Roman, in dem er sämtliche Menschen aus seinem realen Leben in satirisch überspitzter Gestalt auftreten lässt. Im Mittelpunkt steht Woland als mystisch-dunkle Macht, die Moskau besucht, um sich an all jenen zu rächen, die für den Ruin des Autors verantwortlich sind. Während der Meister, wie dieser sich fortan nennt, immer tiefer in seine Geschichte eintaucht, vermag er allmählich nicht mehr zwischen Realität und Fiktion zu unterscheiden …

Negli anni '30, nella grigia e repressiva Mosca staliniana, un giovane scrittore finisce travolto dallo scandalo: la sua pièce teatrale, colpevole di rappresentare Cristo con troppa umanità, viene censurata e stroncata dalla critica. Emarginato e disperato, trova conforto nell'incontro con Margherita, una donna bellissima e sposata, con cui nasce un amore travolgente e proibito. Spinto da questa passione, lo scrittore dà vita a un nuovo romanzo: una Mosca visitata dal diavolo, Woland, un enigmatico personaggio accompagnato da un seguito di figure grottesche e irresistibili. Con ironia e crudeltà, Woland spariglia le carte della realtà, seminando il caos e offrendo vendetta a chi è stato ingiustamente punito. Ma mentre giustizia e amore sembrano finalmente a portata di mano, i confini tra realtà e immaginazione si dissolvono, confondendo il mondo con la pagina scritta.
