晴子はマイナス思考で怠け者の漫画家。バリバリと仕事をこなすしっかり者の夫・幹男に甘えて、のんびりと暮らしていた。そんなある日、幹男が突然「死にたい」と言い出す。うつ病と診断された彼を支えるうちに前向きな性格へと変わっていった晴子は、2人の生活を漫画に描き、編集部へ売り込みに行く。
