تدور أحداث المسرحية في إطار كوميدي، حول محامي يقع في حب شابة يقابلها أثناء رحلة بالفيوم، لكن بسبب سوء تفاهم، يعتقد أنها زوجة البلطجي التي يبحث زوجها عنها ويقسم على قتلها، لتتصاعد الأحداث من خلال سلسلة من المواقف الكوميدية.
