『烈車戦隊トッキュウジャー』と『仮面ライダー鎧武/ガイム』のクロスオーバー番組。テレビシリーズで「スーパー戦隊シリーズ」と「仮面ライダーシリーズ」が共演するのは同作品が初。 『平成ライダー対昭和ライダー 仮面ライダー大戦 feat.スーパー戦隊』の前日談が描かれ、映画でも登場する仮面ライダーフィフティーン、コンバットロイド、昭和ライダー（1号、2号、V3）、鳴滝が登場する。同作品に登場するオリジナルキャラクターについては、下記を参照。 監督は『トッキュウジャー』と『鎧武/ガイム』の双方に参加した中澤祥次郎が務めた。 テレビ朝日系列フルネット24局のみでの放送であり、それ以外のいわゆる遅れネット局ではこの回の放送は飛ばされ、そのまま次の回を放送もしくは別番組に差し替えられた。

Kamen Rider, also known as Masked Rider, is a Japanese media franchise consisting of tokusatsu television programs, films, and manga, created by manga artist Shotaro Ishinomori. Kamen Rider media generally features a motorcycle-riding superhero with an insect motif who fights supervillains, often known as kaijin. The franchise began in 1971 with the Kamen Rider television series, which followed college student Takeshi Hongo and his quest to defeat the world-conquering Shocker organization. The original series spawned television and film sequels and launched the Second Kaiju Boom on Japanese television during the early 1970s, impacting the superhero and action-adventure genres in Japan.
