Prøverne til Sanne Salomonsens soloshow på Bellevue Teatret er i fuld gang i anledning af hendes 50-års fødselsdag. Gennem interviews med hendes nærmeste tegnes et personligt portræt fra barn til voksen af hele Danmarks rockmama. Mats Ronander, eksmand og far til sønnen Victor Ray, sender en musikalsk hilsen af 'Kød og blod' og fortæller om, hvorfor hun er en særlig sangerinde. Sanne fortæller om at blive opdaget i musicalen Hair og afslører, hvorfor Sneakers blev opløst.
