Shrek the Halls

Proprio quando Shrek pensa di potersi finalmente rilassare nella tranquillità della famiglia, arriva il momento della festa più gioiosa dell'anno.

Shrek the Halls es un especial de televisión que se estrenó en el canal ABC. El especial de Navidad fue dirigido por Gary Trousdale y producido por DreamWorks Animation. Mike Myers, Eddie Murphy, Cameron Diaz y Antonio Banderas repitieron sus roles de películas anteriores de Shrek.

Только вот незадача: прямо в разгар мероприятия появляются незванные гости — Осел и Кот в Сапогах. Они рушат все планы Шрека и он, сам того не желая, превращается в настоящего скрягу, сказочную разновидность диккенсовского Скруджа.

Quando Shrek pensava poder relaxar e aproveitar o tempo com a sua família, chega a melhor de todas as festas.

Shrek (character) (Mike Myers) is quietly living in the swamp with his family when the Christmas season arrives. Under Donkey (Shrek) (Eddie Murphy)'s urging, Shrek reluctantly promises Princess Fiona (Cameron Diaz) a special Christmas surprise. Shrek goes to the local bookstore in Far, Far Away to try to find a present for Fiona, but since he does not know what Christmas is all about, the shopkeeper (Marissa Jaret Winokur) gives Shrek a copy of ''Christmas For Dummies'', a step by step guide to celebrating the holiday. Shrek proceeds to follow the book's advice by decorating the house and getting a tree so he can spend a quiet Christmas Eve with his family, but Donkey brings the entire "family" to the swamp, ruining shrek's plans.

Jõuluaeg saabub just siis, kui Shrek arvas, et saab lõpuks puhata ja nautida elu oma uue perega. Kõik peale Shreki on on selle üle õnnelikud. Ent ta püüab anda oma parima, et Fiona ja lapsed saaksid elu parimad jõulud. Aga õnnetuseks on kõigil oma arusaam jõulust ning kui Eesel, Saabastega Kass, Piparkoogimehike ja kogu muu kamp neile jõuluks külla vajub, saab Shreki pere tõeliselt unustamatud jõulud.
