In the countryside, a boy, new to town, finds himself attracted to a mysterious girl. The girl lives alone with her mentally ill father and enjoys skating alone on the lake at night. Despite her peculiarities and the rumors that follow her, the boy is compelled by the girl, but is led into an even darker mystery when her father disappears.
