Jonathan Rivière est avocat d’affaires, une star du barreau que l’on s’arrache. Il est aussi le père, absent, d’un enfant de 12 ans. Dès la naissance du petit Gabriel, Jonathan a compris que la vie de famille n’était pas son truc. Avec Sophie, la maman, l’arrangement a été simple : elle s’occupe de Gabriel et lui paye pour qu’il ne manque de rien. Pourtant, cet enfant aurait bien besoin de l’attention d’un père. Rapidement, il est devenu évident que Gabriel avait du retard, voire qu’il souffrait d’un trouble comportemental ; et puis un jour, le diagnostic est tombé. Gabriel était autiste.
