The Cage

Anno 2254. L'Enterprise, diretta verso una base stellare per operazioni di routine e per riparazioni dovute alle perdite subite durante l'esplorazione di Rigel VII, riceve una chiamata di soccorso proveniente da Talos IV, nei pressi del quale la Columbia è scomparsa diversi anni prima. Durante l'esplorazione, il capitano Christopher Pike viene rapito dai talosiani, che cercano di convincerlo tramite illusioni a formare una discendenza con Vina, l'unica sopravvissuta del Columbia.
