時は1980年代。アメリカの軍事研究所:ベンタン研究所。そこでは、ソ連への攻撃を想定していたアメリカ軍が、あるカビ状物質を応用した細菌兵器の開発が行われていた。そのカビ状の物質というのが、異星人が地球に持ち込んだウイルスで、それに感染すると人体はドロドロに破壊され、その感染を防ぐ方法は今だ発見されていなかった。そんなある日、競合会社である日本の企業に雇われた特殊工作員がその研究所に侵入する。が、そこはすでにウイルスのアウトブレイクが始まっており、阿鼻叫喚の地獄絵図が広がっていた。
