Det misslyckade bankrånet-gisslan tog en bank på torget Norrmalmstorg i Stockholm i september 1973.

Am 23. August 1973 betritt ein Räuber die „Kreditbanken“ am Stockholmer Norrmalmstorg, bewaffnet mit einer Maschinenpistole. Er fordert, dass der schwerbewaffnete Häftling Clark Olofsson zusammen mit einem Fluchtwagen zur Bank gebracht wird, und drei Millionen schwedische Kronen. Das wird der Auftakt zu einem der meistbesprochenen Verbrechen in Schwedens Geschichte. Das Geiseldrama wurde auf der ganzen Welt verfolgt und war namensgebend für das „Stockholm-Syndrom“.
