Matia, un joven marginal, llega escapando a unas islas del río Paraná. En un ambiente ajeno, incómodo, intenta rearmar su vida, pero las tensiones que se generan con su llegada lo devuelven hacia su pasado delictivo y a tener que enfrentar una vez más la idea de huir para sobrevivir.
