Georges débarque dans une communauté de 200 habitants : aucune usine, pas de pollution. Le cadre semble idyllique, mais quand il aperçoit des adolescents qui balancent des grenades, il prend peur et souhaite s'enfuir. Entre-temps, il tombe follement amoureux de la belle Pauline, la plus dangereuse du groupe de jeunes, spécialiste du crime maquillé.
