Une famille girafe passe ses vacances dans une forêt lointaine.
Le girafon se perd, et fait la rencontre des animaux qui y vivent.
Mais un écureuil acariâtre ne semble pas du tout prêt à accueillir ce nouveau venu. Grâce à sa gentillesse et à son inventivité, le girafon finira par se faire accepter, au grand dam de ce bougon d'écureuil…
Een giraffengezin gaat op vakantie in een Europees bos. Wanneer de kleine giraf verdwaalt, ontmoet hij dieren uit onze bossen. Zijn integratie verloopt echter moeizaam wanneer een verbitterde eekhoorn hem beproefd. Maar met veel vriendelijkheid en vindingrijkheid slaagt de kleine giraf erin de dieren voor zich te winnen, tot grote ergernis van de eekhoorn en vindt hij zijn ouders terug.
A family of giraffes is spending their holidays in a far-away forest. The baby giraffe gets lost and meets some of the animals that live there. But a bad-tempered squirrel does not seem at all ready to accept the newcomer. When the others see that he is not only kind but also pretty smart, he soon becomes one of the crowd, much to the annoyance of the grumpy squirrel.
