Un pobre guarda-agujas llamado Benito ve pasar a los famosos del cine que viajan a Almería. Entonces decide dejar a su novia y se va al rodaje de la película; allí le explota una carga, y tienen que vendarle todo el cuerpo. La estrella de la película le visita; los fotógrafos recogen el beso y él, emocionado, sueña que se le han abierto las puertas del cine.
