法の力が及ばない巨大な地下遊郭都市・吉原桃源郷。 欲望渦巻く陽の当たらない常夜の街。 江戸で何でも屋＝万事屋を営む坂田銀時は、スリで生計を立てる孤児・晴太と出会った。 晴太は生き別れた母を探しているという。そして吉原トップの花魁・日輪が母かもしれないと。 吉原桃源郷の花魁達は夜王・鳳仙の支配下にある。 鳳仙は戦闘民族・夜兎族の中でも圧倒的な強さを誇り、吉原の利権をすべて掌握し、莫大な金と権力を欲しいままにしていた。 「一目でいいから母ちゃんに会いたい」。 少年の小さな願いを叶えるために、銀時と仲間達が動き出す。 その絆は、巨大な闇を照らし出すことができるのか。
