يستأجر محمد فتحي شقة جديدة تواجه قصر طاهر باشا والد نادية، ويحدث سوء فهم بين فتحي ونادية، ثم يكتشف أنها ابنة أخت رئيسه في العمل في بنك مصر، وما أن تشكو له نادية حتى يقرر نقله إلى بنى سويف، ويكتشف فتحي حقيقة سوء الفهم، ويقعان في الحب، وتحاول نادية أن تطلب إلغاء أمر النقل.
