Screenwriter, playwright and author Mary Eunice McCarthy is perhaps best known today as the screenwriter of, and driving force behind, the biopic Sister Kenny (1946). She was also known for Theodora Goes Wild (1936), The Petty Girl (1950) and Irish Luck (1939).
