Hunter August Hancock, more commonly known by his online titles, MeatCanyon and Papa Meat, is an American animator, artist, actor, director, filmmaker, writer and voice actor. Stylised by his grotesque animations, Hancock gained infamy on YouTube due to the unsettling nature of his cartoons parodying popular icons at the time. He would later express how he didn't want to be tethered to only making videos about what's popular and pivoted away from it. In this time, He became more frequent on his second channel (Papa Meat) where he would make more commentary style videos, and later return to his main channel to post his short films.
