Emma Lowe goes in search of a special puppy, wanting one that will act as a therapy dog for her four-year-old son, who has Down's syndrome, and soothe him when he is distressed. Meanwhile, newlyweds Leigh and Bella are forced to call in behaviourist Louise Glazebrook when their new pug Butch Cassidy has trouble sleeping on a night. There are also catch-ups with salon owner Hannah, who is taking on her third Chihuahua, and psychic Delia as she welcomes the big-breed Leonberger she fell in love with. But as the small puppy grows, she finds herself completely out of her depth.
