The nursing home where Frania's grandmother, Apolonia, lives, is closed due to termite extermination. Teresa comes up with the idea of having her grandmother live at the Skalski house for a few days. Frania convinces Maks to go along with the idea, arguing that the children would benefit from having contact with their grandmother. The problem begins when Małgosia, after talking to Apolonia, goes on a date. Frania and Maks suspect that the grandmother advised the girl to "go for it."
