تدور أحداث المسلسل في إطار إجتماعي كوميدي حول الشاب (دعيج) وهو من أب كويتي وأم مصرية، والذي يعوّل كثيراً على مجيء خاله المصري من الخارج، إذ يتصور أنه كوّن ثروة وسيكون مصدرًا للخير، والعكس صحيح بالنسبة للخال، فكلاهما يبني أحلامه على الآخر
