הסדרה עוסקת בסיפורו של אדיר מיוחס, כדורגלן ישראלי, שנרכש על ידי מועדון הפאר צ'לסי ועובר עם משפחתו ללונדון כדי להגשים את חלומו להיות "הליאו מסי הבא". באנגליה מתברר שהמציאות מאחורי הפנטזיה היא הרבה פחות נוצצת, והרבה יותר מצחיקה. אדיר גר בלונדון בבית אחד יחד עם חברתו, אביו ואחיו, שנסעו כדי לעזור לו להתאקלם בסביבה החדשה, אבל בפועל בעיקר מפריעים לו. המפגש בין התרבויות המנוגדות מוביל בעיקר לאי הבנות, טעויות וסיטואציות קומיות.
