Jane King is dying to be an actress. In the process of going to auditions, getting head-shots and attending acting classes she meets a man who claims to have connections with a major studio. But the claim is a lie and weeks later police find her body. The circumstances of her murder are eerily similar to other recent homicides in LA - and it takes two years and many more victims to bring the infamous Hillside Stranglers to justice.
