Tim Burton’s 1989 Batman movie starring Micheal Keaton was an absolute worldwide phenomenon, so naturally just a few years later a sequel was made. Not only did Keaton return as Bruce Wayne, but he was joined by Danny Devito as the Penguin and Michelle Pfeiffer as Catwoman in what would become iconic portrayals of the characters. Batman Returns definitely raises a few questions though. Like if you get rescued by an animal, do you automatically take on its characteristics? Did Max Shreck not clean up after pushing Selina Kyle out of his office window? Why is Batman so thrilled to be killing bad guys, and why did he rip his mask off? How was nobody supsicious of Penguin instantly bringing a baby out of a sewer on a mechanical lift?
