本剧由三个青春故事组成。《他和喵》：来自猫王国的猫咪江小葵和主人江晴过着幸福的生活。直到那一天，江晴的弟弟江夏归家，对猫过敏的江夏和讨厌弟弟的江小葵展开了一场关于姐姐宠爱的争夺战。《全日制对头》：暑期短跑集训上，积怨许久的许天一和李施林重逢。在互相比拼抗衡的过程中，解开了当年的心结。就在两人一起为进入市队努力的时候，一场意外发生了。《故事里的人》：小混混余昇意外发现自己竟然是作家许墨小说中的人物。得知自己和妹妹的悲惨结局之后，来到现实世界与作家斗智斗勇，企图改变自己的命运，却没想到引来了更大的危机。
