  • S18E01 Episode 1 - Daniel Lanois & Willie Nelson

    • January 1, 2020

    Daniel traveled to Dingle to perform a beautiful solo acoustic set including ‘Under a Stormy Sky’ & ‘The Collection of Marie Claire’ in the candle lit church of st. James’. In this episode we visit Willie Nelson’s ranch where we are treated to classics such as ‘On The Road Again’, ‘Whiskey River’ and ‘Blue Eyes Crying In The Rain’.

  • S18E02 Episode 2 - Peter, Bjorn and John & Jose Gonzales

    In this episode we are joined in st. James’ church, Dingle by some of sweden’s finest musicians. Indie rockers Peter, Bjorn & John take to the stage for a mesmerising performance of their global smash ‘Young Folks’ . Also, we have a spectacular performance from José González. His hauntingly gentle rendition of ‘Heartbeats’ is not to be missed.

  • S18E03 Episode 3 - St. Vincent & Margo Price

    Few musicians have a razor sharp stage presence like St. Vincent and much to our delight, she joins us in st. James’ church, Dingle, to perform songs from her critically acclaimed record ‘Strange Mercy’. Also in the show, Margo Price and her spectacular band join us in Arlyn studios, Austin.

  • S18E04 Episode 4 - The National & Lisa Hannigan

    The National join us in st. James’ church, Dingle all the way from cincinnati, for a spectacular performance of classics such as ‘Bloodbuzz Ohio’ and speak to OV presenter Annie Mac about their record High Violet. In this show we are also joined by Lisa Hannigan who returns to Other Voices with music from her critically acclaimed, number one album ‘At Swim’, produced by Aaron Dessner of The National.

    The XX dazzle with music from their self-titled, Mercury Prize award winning debut record and perform ‘Infinity’, ‘Night Time’ and ‘Basic Space’. The National return with a poignant rendition of ‘Runaway’ from their third album ‘High Violet’.

  • S18E06 Episode 6 - Cage The Elephant & Shakey Graves

    The incredible Kentucky band Cage The Elephant join us in Arlyn studios,Austin to deliver their unique, infectious southern rock.The band perform a stripped back, acoustic set of tunes from their latest studio release ‘Tell Me I’m Pretty’. In this episode we also catch up with Shakey Graves, who made the long-haul journey from Austin,Texas to the remote fishing village of Dingle on Ireland’s Wild Atlantic Way, in the middle of winter, to perform tunes from his debut album ‘And The War Came’

  • S18E07 Episode 7 - James Blunt & Local Natives

    In this episode,James Blunt performs songs from his record shattering debut album ‘Back To Bedlam’. In st. James’ church, Blunt and his band work their way through some of his best known tunes, including the worldwide number one ‘Beautiful’ and ‘High’. LA based quintet, Local Natives join us in st. James’ church performing ‘Wide Eyes’ and an acoustic rendition of ‘Breakers’ filmed in a distillery in the west of Ireland.

    In this episode of OtherVoices,singer and multi-instrumentalist Jack Garratt joins us in Dingle, performing music from his r&B, pop & rock infused debut album ‘Phase’. On this show we also bring you music from the enigmatic Seasick Steve in st. James’ church, Dingle. In February 2010, seasick steve was nominated for a Brit Award in the category of International solo Male Artist for the second consecutive year.

  • S18E09 Episode 9 - Mumford & Sons & Hozier

    In this episode,Mumford & Sons join us inArlyn studios, Austin for a one-off,stripped back set to soothe the soul. Mumford & sons perform songs from their most recent album ‘Wilder Mind’ as well as a mesmerising cover of Bruce springsteen’s ‘I’m On Fire’. Later in the show we return to Dingle, where Grammy nominee Hozier opens up about his meteoric rise to superstardom and his musical influences

  • S18E10 Episode 10 - John Grant & Rufus Wainwright

    From Other Voices London, we bring you a one-off collaboration by long time friends of the show, John Grant andVillagers. John Grant’s debut solo album ‘Queen of Denmark’ was named in 2010 the best album of the year by Mojo. In this episode,the incredible Rufus Wainwright takes to the stage in st. James’ church to perform spellbinding renditions of ‘This Love Affair’, Memphis skyline and Hallelujah.

  • S18E11 Episode 11 - Kodaline & James Morrison

    In this episode we see Kodaline perform ‘Pray’ from their debut album ‘In A Perfect World’. James Morrison joins us in st. James’ church to perform a stripped-down version of his number one collaborative single with Nelly Furtado “Broken Strings” and “You Make It Real.” James Morrison also speaks to OV presenter Annie Mac about life as a musician and busking before signing record deals.

  • S18E12 Episode 12 - Ryan Adams & y Glen Hansard

    In this episode ryan Adams joins us in st. James’ church, Dingle for a stripped back acoustic performance of some of his best known songs. We are also joined by Glen Hansard who performs a tune from his most recent record ‘Didn’t He Ramble’. Glen Hansard is an Irish songwriter, actor, vocalist and guitarist for the group “The Frames”, and one half of folk-rock duo The swell season.

  • S18E13 Episode 13 - Snow Patrol & Conor Oberst

    From the church of saint James, we bring you a performance from Northern Irish indie-rock band, Snow Patrol. They perform new arrangements of ‘Shut Your Eyes’, ‘Chasing Cars’ and ‘You’re All I Have’. Also in this episode, all the way from Arlyn studios, Texas, Conor Oberst delivers an incredible, heart-warming performance of ‘Cape Canaveral’.

    In this episode, George Ezra joins us from OtherVoices Derry. George ezra, who is known for his deep, gravely voice, delivers a memorable performance of ‘Did You Hear The Rain’ and ‘Cassy O’ from his debut album. George ezra is an english singer, songwriter and guitarist. His debut studio album, ‘Wanted on Voyage’, was released in 2014,reaching no. 1 in the UK and the top ten in seven other countries. It was also the third best-selling album of 2014 in the UK. Elbow join us in st. James’ church, Dingle with a performance of ‘Fugitive Motel’ and speak to OV presenter John Kelly.

  • S18E15 Episode 15 - Steve Earle & Patty Griffin

    In this episode we are joined by a legendary musician who has drawn from both rock and country sensibilities. Steve Earle performs ‘Dixieland’,‘Copperhead Road’ and ‘Galway Girl’ in st. James’ church. Patty Griffin also delivers a spellbinding acoustic performance of ‘Mary’ on location with the beautiful Wild Atlantic Way in the background, In 2011.

    english indie rock band Wild Beasts speak to Aidan Gillen and perform ‘Reach a Bit Further’ in a tiny kitchen in Dingle. In this episodeAustralian indie rock band Temper Trap join us in Dingle, all the way from Australia, to perform songs from their 2009 album ‘Conditions’ including the worldwide hit single ‘Sweet Disposition’.
