神秘老板为了某种目的，要组一个女团“Dada Dream”，将任务交给助理朱芷欣,而指定合作的音乐人是芷欣的初恋情人方文斌。经过选拔，8位有潜力的女生包括老板指定人选李思彤，以及文斌说话结巴的女儿方静晨。在8人经历训练和淘汰的过程中，朱芷欣的儿子朱勇杰也在追求音乐梦想的当中发现母亲不为人知的过往。
