物語は古い東京、1923年8月から9月の東京で行われます。この瞬間、街は極端なものが混ざり合っています...過去と現在、金持ちと貧乏人、善と悪。 これは、馬車と自動車、剣と拳銃、領主とビジネスマンの両方が見られる都市です。 上流階級の裕福な女性は、ハンサムな若い男、タカに惹かれていることに気づきます。 彼と彼の弟は、おそらく完全に喜んでではないかもしれませんが、街の地下の犯罪者（ヤクザ）の一部と同盟を結んでいるようです。 女性の素敵な若いメイドサーヴァント、サラも彼に会い、悲劇、情熱、そして不名誉につながるだけの紛争が起こります。 しかし、出来事が進み、日が経つにつれ、視聴者は恐ろしい日が近づいているのを目にします...その忘れられない日、1923年9月1日11:58、関東大震災と津波が東京を襲い、 人類史上最大の災害の1つである約10万人の死。
